Competition Rules

  • 1. The closing date for entry is midnight 3rd March.
    • 1.1 Entry is via the online entry form only.
    • 1.2 Only one entry per email address. Multiple entries will be discounted. Incomplete entries will be discounted.
    • 1.3 Future Publishing Limited as promoter of the competition is not responsible for lost, delayed or missing competition entries.
  • 2. No purchase necessary.
  • 3. Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over excluding employees of Future Publishing PLC, Playstation, or any other person connected with this promotion.
  • 4. Prize: There is One final prize consisting of Two Economy class return flights for the Winner and one guest to Los Angeles. Both parties must be a resident of the United Kingdom, aged 18 or over and eligible to travel to the United States). Plus up to two nightsÕ accommodation in a twin room in a 3* hotel or equivalent accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis; plus two tickets to attend the E3 Convention in Los Angeles; and transfers to and from the US airport, the hotel and the E3 Convention. The winner & guest are responsible for their own transport to and from their home and the designated International UK airport, and for arranging their own travel insurance. The above trip will take place in 2011 on dates to be specified by the Promoter. In addition, there the four entrants who win a place on the Future game team will each win a copy of Killzone 3, Infamous 2, Resistance 3 & Uncharted 3. And the champion from the Future game team will win a 32Ó 3D Sony Bravia TV + 2 Glasses & Transmitter.
    • 4.1 There is no other prize element. Prizes are non transferable, no cash alternative will be offered.
    • 4.2 The prize details are subject to change due to matters outside of the promoters control.
  • 5. How to Enter: The MotorStorm Apocalypse tournament will be held in London on the 10th of March, 2011. The first stage is to enter the competition by answering our question. The best 20 answers as judged by the GamesRadar editor will receive a copy of MotorStorm Apocalypse and the winners will be invited to the Future Publishing offices in London to battle it out with winners from other publications in a MotorStorm Apocalypse tournament. Entrants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to London. The overall top 4 combatants will each receive a bundle of Sony's 2011 line-up, containing Killzone 3, Infamous 2, Resistance 3 & Uncharted 3, all 20 entrants will then be taken to MotorStorm Apocalypse LIVE, held by Sony, where the top GamesRadar drivers will compete with representatives from other gaming websites for the top prize – a trip to E3 in Los Angeles as Sony's guest and a 3D Sony Bravia TV kit.
  • 6. The decision of Future Publishing is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • 7. By entering this competition, you agree that Future Publishing Limited and any competition sponsor may send you information about their respective products and services which may be of interest to you unless you elect otherwise.
  • 8. The Promoter may publish the names of the four Future Publishing competitors on its website(s). The four competitors' names will be made available on request to those sending a SAE marked Motorstorm Apocalypse Live Competition to the following address: Sony Computer Entertainment Limited, 10 Great Marlborough Street, London, W1F 7LP, within 10 weeks of the closing date specified above.
  • 9. The Promoter may want to film the overall Winner & guest during their attendance at the E3 Convention. By attending and participating in such events, Entrants will be considered to have given the Promoter and its associated companies and agents, permission to:
    • a. photograph, film and record them during their attendance;
    • b. edit, alter, reproduce, publish and distribute any such photographs, recordings and films or anything derived from them (the ÒMaterialÓ) in any medium; and
    • c. use the Material, in whole or in part, for any purposes it deems necessary to promote, advertise or exploit the PlayStation brand and anything connected to it.
  • 10. Entrants also agree to waive any moral rights that they may have in the Material and to release the Promoter and its associated companies and agents from any claims for payment in connection with their use of the Material.
  • 11. By entering this Competition, all Entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Specific Rules and the General Rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this Competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of these Specific Rules.
  • 12. No expenses will be covered by the Promoter other than those expressly stated to be covered in these Specific Rules.
  • 13. The Promoter may disqualify you from the Competition or withdraw prizes from you if you:
    • a. do not fulfill all of the relevant entry criteria;
    • b. give the Promoter untruthful, inaccurate or misleading information;
    • c. do not follow these Specific Rules and/or the General Rules;
    • d. do not follow any rules or instructions given by the Promoter or its agents at any time during this Competition.
  • 14. In the event that an Entrant or Winner is disqualified or is unable to attend any part of the Competition or the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to appoint the relevant runner-up as a substitute.
  • 15. The Promoter shall have no liability to pay compensation to you if you are disqualified from this Competition or if you are unable to attend or take part in any stage of the Competition for whatever reason.
